Originally the holiday home of the De Gasperis family, in 1963, under the superb direction of the architects Achille and PiergGiacomo Castiglioni, the Hotel El Chico was created; white walls, terracotta and slate were all harmoniously matched to produce an interesting and unique building. It has always been managed by the same owners who, having enlarged the central body of the hotel, recently opened one of the most prestigious conference centres and show rooms in the Province of Savona. The management and multi-lingual staff of the hotel are at your disposal to make your stay as pleasant as possible and to provide full information on the attractions and sights of the local area.
The hotel is very spacious both inside and outside. A large pergola with vines, looking out directly over the swimming pool and the sea, is the perfect place to spend moments of total relaxation and contact with nature, or to enjoy an exquisite aperitif or cocktail prepared with care by our barman Angelo. It is also where, to the delight of our guests, breakfast is served from the months of March to October.
The simple and elegant lines of the foyer provide a nice contrast to its view out over luxuriant nature.
Immersed in the gardens of the hotel, the large panoramic swimming pool with its solarium enjoys a sea breeze and is shaded by the foliage of oak and olive trees.
For sports lovers, the hotel has a fully-equipped gym, a billiards room and table tennis in the garden. In the local area there is a wide choice of nature trails for jogging or hiking.
